The Advanced Training Opportunities Programme (ATOP) was designed to facilitate interested participants age 18 and over, who are interested in the arts; as well as students below age 18 who have excelled in the performing arts classes.
The ATOP Programme is one year old and is currently offered at the East Street Junior Centre on Thursdays 5: 00 – 6:00 p.m.
The students in the ATOP Programme are currently exposed to Drumming and Dance.
Since the start of the Programme; the students have been solicited for various performances. The most recent being: Artistry In Motion Performing Arts Group showcase on July 20, 2013, at the Anglican Church Hall in Falmouth, Trelawny; and The Junior Centre Drummers performed at the Urban Development Corporation’s Festival Market Place on July 30, 2013, and for JCDC on July 31, 2013.
